CM Punk’s “guns back in the holsters” motion just made me squeal like a fangirl. Such a badass tactic.
I really love that there are so many wrestling fans that are still complete fucking marks.
You know, I can’t even be mad. You can say they screwed Daniel Bryan over, but what they just did (by having him go over Cena clean, win the title, get pedigreed and lose it to Orton) was position Daniel freakin’ Bryan as the company’s top babyface. You can argue it’s been that way for at least a few weeks now, but this is official.
All the momentum from this match will get them at least two months worth of a Bryan/Orton feud for the WWE Championship. Sure, they might botch the story (and if Triple H is involved, that probability goes up - anyone putting odds on a Kevin Nash appearance?), but right now Daniel Bryan, title or no title, is the man.
And I’m okay with that.
Triple H fought Lesnar three times, and only won once. Ego will not permit it.
That should have been the finish right there! Christian was in the cross armbreaker, but he rolled Del Rio over trying to reach the ropes, and Del Rio’s shoulders were pinned to the mat. A 3 count right there would have made a great ending to that match.
