I remember the first match I ever watched with Jushin Liger. I was sitting with my grandfather on his bed, like we usually did when we watched wrestling. Brian Pillman had come out first, the music hit and that’s when I saw him. As a kid, I was in awe of Jushin Liger. The colors and that mask really did it for me. It’s one of my favorite wrestling masks ever. Whenever he would show up on TV, I was instantly excited. I will forever love Jushin “Thunder” Liger and will always remember my grandfather going, “Pffffft. That’s a costume, if I’ve ever seen one.”
